Owen Leuellen is a Maltese Rapper and Songwriter. He rose to fame across the Maltese islands after placing 2nd on the X Factor Malta in 2019. Leuellen started writing songs at the age of 15 and after five years he made his first appearance on television on the X Factor. In the finals of the XFactor Owen was featured on a track with one of the show’s judges Ira Losco. He wrote his part on the track ‘HEY NOW’ which went VIRAL in days on all local radio stations and media platforms. The song reached a local milestone with 1.5 Million views on YouTube, which is three times the population of Malta. This experience paved the way for Owen to kick-start his career.

He started being invited to a number of events as a performer which helped him share his versatile rap style with a number of people attracting a vast demographic, mainly the younger generation. After becoming a household name Owen advanced from small stages to performing in famous festivals with crowds of up to 50,000 people like ISLE OF MTV and Radio Italia, performing as show openers for huge Artists like; Bebe Rexha, Ava Max, Sean Kingston, Wiley, Fatman Scoop and more. Leuellen was getting booked in high demand after gaining both a #1 and a #4 on the top 10 local charts with X Factor songs.

Throughout his career, he also achieved four Awards, for BEST SONG OF THE YEAR, BEST HIPHOP & RNB and twice for BEST MALE ARTIST. Later he releases a few more singles and again topped the charts in #2 with ‘My Time’ And finally in late 2021 he dropped his first Album, ‘Dreams’ gaining another #1 on the charts with the summer banger ‘Runaway’
